CALUM HOOD: Lang erwartetes Solo-Debütalbum angekündigt

Heute beginnt für den gefeierten Musiker Calum Hood eine neue Ära – mit der Ankündigung seines mit Spannung erwarteten Solo-Debütalbums „ORDER chaos ORDER“, das am 13. Juni über EMI Music Australia erscheint. Einen ersten Vorgeschmack auf das Album bietet Calums Debüt-Solo-Single „Don’t Forget You Love Me“ – ein atemberaubender erster Einblick in seine neue klangliche Ausrichtung als Solokünstler und in die Welt von „ORDER chaos ORDER“.

Calum erzählt: „This album was made in a tumble dryer of knowing and not knowing. I started out with a vision—order—but quickly became overwhelmed by the process—chaos. Eventually, I learned to embrace both, and that balance became the heart of the record.“

Während „ORDER Chaos ORDER“ einen Neuanfang markiert, ist es auch eine Abrechnung mit Hoods Vergangenheit. Calum sagt: „There are things I’ve never been able to sing about in the band—my upbringing, my family, the places life has taken me. This album is about laying those things to rest and allowing listeners to connect in their own way.“
